Sivaangi Krishnakumar (Sivaangi) is an Indian playback singer, actress, and reality show participant who works in the Tamil and Malayalam music industry. In 2019, she participated in the singing reality show “Super Singer 7,” which was aired on Star Vijay, and made it into the Top 6. She made her debut as a singer in the Tamil film Pasanga with the song “Anbaale Azhagaagum”.
Shivaangi was born on 25 May 2000 in Thodupuzha, Kerala, to a Tamil father and a Malayali mother. Her father, Krishnakumar, is a businessman and a musicologist, and her mother, Binni Krishnakumar, is a playback singer. She has a younger brother named Vinayaak Sunder. She completed her school education at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School, Chennai, and studied for a bachelor’s degree in Commerce at M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai.
In 2021, Shivaangi Krishnakumar sang “Asku Maaro” in Tamil. Later, she sang “Talku Lessu Worku Moreu” in the movie Murungakkai Chips alongside Sam Vishal. Recently, she sang a song ‘Adipoli‘ alongside Vineeth Sreenivasan.
