Sujesh Hari is a Malayalam lyricist from Kottarakkara, Kerala. He was born on 27 May 1982 in Kottarakkara, Kerala, India. Sujesh entered the television industry in 2014 through the title song of the popular Malayalam TV serial Marimayam. With a strong ambition to enter the film industry, he created a music album titled Pemari. One of its songs, “Thumbapoo pole chirichum,” became a turning point in his career. After listening to the song, renowned actor Biju Menon, through scriptwriter Sajeev Pazhoor, invited Sujesh Hari to work on the Malayalam film “Sathyam Paranja Viswasikkuvo”.
In his very first cinematic venture, Sujesh Hari achieved a major milestone by winning the Kerala State Government Award for Best Lyricist (2019) for Pularipoo pole chirichum. The song also earned him Mazhavil Manorama’s Best Newcomer Music Award (2019), firmly establishing his reputation as a promising lyricist.
Continuing his journey in cinema, Sujesh Hari has worked as a lyricist on films such as Eesho and Pakalum Pathiraavum, further strengthening his presence in the Malayalam film industry.
