Justin Prabhakaran is an Indian music composer and producer who works primarily in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu cinema. He was born in 1988 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Justin began his professional journey as an assistant and associate of A. R. Rahman, which helped shape his strong foundation in orchestration, melody, and contemporary sound design. Justin made his independent debut as a film composer in the mid-2010s and steadily gained recognition for his emotionally rich and youth-oriented music. Some of his most recognized works include songs from the film Dear Comrade (2019), especially “O Kalala” and “Nee Kallu Chudani”, which received widespread appreciation for their soulful composition and lyrical depth.
