M. G.Sreekumar is an Indian playback singer, music producer, composer, television presenter, and film producer who works predominantly in the Malayalam film and television industry. Sreekumar has sung over 25,000 songs in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada and has won numerous awards, including several National and Kerala State Film Awards and the South Filmfare Awards.
Sreekumar was born on May 25, 1957, in Haripad, Alappuzha district of Kerala, the youngest son of music director and harmonist Malabar Gopalan Nair and Kamalakshi Amma. The famous music director M. G. Radhakrishnan and popular Carnatic musician Dr. K. Omanakutty are his brothers. In 1988, after a three-year love affair with Rekha, he got married at the Mookambika temple in Kollur.
